We need volunteers to help out with our therapy dog training classes where dogs and their handlers learn the skills to become volunteer therapy teams with Paws & Think. This is a fun volunteer opportunity where you participate without your dog, and no experience is required! Volunteers help the class Trainer to practice different activities with the dogs enrolled in our training class.

Keegan Connor recently volunteered with a class where she helped the dogs to practice walking calmly with their handlers, get used to a stranger’s touch, and get comfortable around medical equipment like wheelchairs and walkers. In addition to volunteering, Keegan also helps to support Paws & Think through the nonprofit she created, Keegan Cares, which sells bandanas to raise money for our pet therapy programs.
