Fourteen-year-old Keegan Connor created the nonprofit Keegan Cares to help fund Paws & Think’s therapy dog programs and to advocate for scoliosis awareness. After her VBT spine surgery, therapy dogs helped Keegan to recover, so she is passionate about the benefits of therapy dogs.
Through Keegan Cares, she helps to spread awareness to families about the signs of scoliosis and has designed bandanas for a fundraiser where the proceeds will benefit Paws & Think’s programs. Keegan’s “Caredanas” are $7.97 and can be purchased at keegancares.com.
