Paws and Think placed Hogan with Joey as an Assistance Dog a couple of years ago, to help her with her physical challenges. She is now the reigning Ms. Wheelchair Indiana! The Ms. Wheelchair Indiana program gives voice to the disabled condition, provides a platform for advocacy and promotes understanding between the disabled and the able-bodied communities. As Ms. Wheelchair Indiana, the winner will have the opportunity to help educate the public, advocating for people with disabilities through media interviews and school, church and civic appearances.
