This month is Adopt a Senior Pet Month. To celebrate the gray faced pets out there, Executive Director Kelsey Burton and her 13.5 year old dachshund Ava share a wonderful story about aging pets called “Gray Whiskers.” Thank you Lisa Wienebrink for letting us share this fantastic story.
We have many wonderful therapy dogs and graduates of our Youth-Canine program that are seniors. They still have so much life to give. If you’re thinking of adding a dog to the family, don’t overlook those with gray whiskers.
