We are hiring! Paws & Think is looking to hire a Canine Temperament Tester and an Evening Care Coordinator for our Youth-Canine Programs! Please share the description with your animal friends.
Paws & Think pairs shelter dogs with historically underserved juveniles in Indianapolis for a week-long training program. During the program, the shelter dogs receive socialization, extra attention and positive-reinforcement training, which helps them become more adoptable. In turn, the teens receive comfort from the dogs while also learning empathy, teamwork and confidence.

The position requires a person to be comfortable with handling dogs of all sizes and breeds, specifically walking them in and out of busy kennel spaces. Basic computer skills are required.

The coordinator would be responsible for feeding and making sure the dogs receive their medications while also overseeing the P&T volunteers who play, enrich and potty the dogs before bed.
