Wine Tasting

Our 2010 Wine Tasting Event took place on December 1 at Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel, Indiana. In addition to over 20 wines and a selection of craft beers to sample, the event included hors d’oeuvres, live music from Scott Ballantine, a silent auction (items included a signed Peyton Manning Super Bowl Jersey, a signed Jim Davis piece of artwork, a Pet Package from Pet Supplies Plus worth almost $700, and a “Man Cave” package including a specialty cooler, craft beers and a neon sign). Therapy dogs attended the event and our specialty wines being sold featuring two of our Therapy Dogs (Mater Merlot and Ruddy Riesling) sold out.

The event raised over $5,000 and all the money raised will support Paws and Think’s programs and services. Special thanks to all our donors, attendees and sponsors, including: Monarch Beverage, World Class Beverage, PRP Wine International, Oak Hill Mansion, Pet Supplies Plus and all generous silent auction donors. We appreciate your generosity and continued support.

All proceeds raised will support Paws and Think, Inc. Our organization serves at-risk youths, at-risk canines, and children and adults with disabilities/special needs in central Indiana. Our human and fiscal resources are directed first and foremost to the provision of quality programming for central Indiana’s at-risk populations and the training of qualified staff and volunteers who provide the programs.
