Blake Blanch is the VP of Capital for Herman and Kittle Properties. He brings a wide variety of skills to the board, including problem solving, lean management, financing, accounting, and law. Blake earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Ball State University, a JD from the Robert M. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University, and an MBA from the Indiana University School of Business-Indianapolis.
As a dog lover and owner, Blake has seen firsthand how a dog can make a bad day brighter. He was drawn to serving Paws & Think because of how the programs make a difference in the lives of both humans and dogs. In fact, he even plans on putting his own Boston Terrier, named Izzy, through therapy pet training in the near future!
Besides Paws & Think, Blake has played an active role in his community over the years. In his previous job, he created and put on an annual charity golf outing that has raised more than $300,000 for various Indiana charities over the past 15 years. He also volunteers to help teach and coach his son’s division of Math Pentathlon through the annual tournament.
In his free time, Blake enjoys playing billiards and golf, rooting on the Detroit Tigers and Purdue football team, and spending time with his family.
