Andy Schooler is an Assurance Senior and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Ernst & Young, LLP, who has experience in financial reporting, management, and accountancy to provide to the Paws and think board. Andy brings his passion for animals and his knowledge for accounting and finance to Paws & Think serving as the assistant treasurer and assisting with budgeting. Andy graduated from Butler University in 2012 and 2013 with his undergraduate and graduate degree, respectively, in accountancy. In addition to his accounting and finance background as a licensed CPA, Andy is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Andy has worked with other organizations such as the Indiana Canine Assistance Network to furlough dogs and learned that the human-animal-bond can make a real difference in our world. In addition to training dogs to assist individuals in need, he also volunteered with dogs in special education classrooms for his mother, Cyndi Schooler, a former special education teacher. He does not have a dog right now, but has had many furry friends throughout his life that have always made an impact in his own life, and hold a place in his heart. In his free time, Andy enjoys traveling, biking, cooking, wine, spending time outdoors, and being surrounded by close friends and family.
